The Sales Call Blueprint
What this gives you: The exact blueprint one of our coaching clients used to go from no agency to booking almost 5 sales calls per week within 2 weeks, and how he wins the calls once they are booked. We coach this 1-on-1 inside AI Agency OS.
Most people trying to sell AI services get this backwards. They obsess over closing techniques and scripts, then walk into calls with zero preparation and wonder why nothing converts.
The blueprint below is the opposite. Almost all of the work happens before the call starts. By the time you are actually talking to the prospect, the sale is mostly decided.
Step 1 - Pick one lane
You cannot sell "AI" to everyone. The client this blueprint comes from picked one clear lane: AI fulfilment for agencies and hiring teams, delivered under the client's own brand. One audience, one offer, said in one sentence.
Your lane needs three things:
- A buyer with money: the average deal in that niche has to comfortably fund your fee.
- A reachable decision maker: owners you can actually get in front of on LinkedIn or Instagram.
- A pain you can demo: a problem you can show solved on a screen, not just describe.
Step 2 - Fix your profile before you send anything
Every person you message does the same thing: reply, click your name, decide in seconds. If your profile loses that decision, more volume just loses it more often.
- Kill the job-seeker signals. Anything that says "open to opportunities" tells clients you are an employee, and they do not buy from employees.
- Rewrite the headline. Who you help plus the result you get them.
- Add a featured section. One case study, one booking link, front and centre.
- Wire a booking link to the profile button. A warm lead should be able to book you in 2 clicks.
- Fix the banner. It should state the offer, not decorate the page.
Step 3 - Go to volume with a direct offer
Once the foundation is set, the game is consistency. Daily outreach, personalised, with a direct results-based message. Lead with what they get, not what you do.
Follow up 5-8 times on every conversation that starts. Almost nobody does this, which is exactly why it works. Run it daily and the flip happens fast: within 2 weeks our client had prospects finding him and asking for calls.
Step 4 - Build the demo before the call
This is the step that separates this blueprint from everything else, and it is only possible because of Claude Code.
Before every sales call, spend 10-15 minutes researching the prospect: their website, their LinkedIn, how they currently get clients. Then build a front-end MVP demo tailored to their exact business. Their branding, their problem, solved on a screen. It does not need a backend. It needs to look like their world.
Step 5 - Run the call structure
On the call itself, you are not pitching. You are running a structure.
- Frame the call. You are deciding if they are a fit to work with you, not the other way round. That frame changes how every question lands.
- Discovery first. Around 10 questions on how they run things and where it hurts. Write their exact words down.
- Demo mapped to their pains. Screen share their own website and the demo you built. Show their problem solved, in their branding. Skip PowerPoint entirely.
- Zero pricing on this call. Pricing goes in a proposal call afterwards, once you can scope it properly. Rushed pricing turns you into a price comparison.
- Book the proposal call before you hang up. Specific day, specific time.
Put it together
- One lane: one audience, one offer, one sentence.
- Profile fixed before the first message goes out.
- Daily volume with a direct results-based message and 5-8 follow-ups.
- 10-15 minutes of research + a Claude Code demo before every call.
- Structure on the call: frame, discovery, demo, no pricing until the proposal call.
None of these steps is clever on its own. The edge is running all five, every day, without skipping the boring parts. That is the whole blueprint.
