For AI agency owners

The DM Booking Scripts

What this gives you: The exact messages that turn a comment or DM into a booked call, without being salesy. Word for word, ready to adapt to your offer. We coach this 1-on-1 inside AI Agency OS.

Paste this guide into Claude Code and it will adapt every script to your offer, your niche and your voice.

A DM is not a pitch, it is the start of a conversation. The founders who book the most calls are not the best closers, they are the ones who resist the urge to sell in message one.

Here is the exact sequence I run once someone comments, replies, or lands in my DMs, from opener to booked call.

Start a conversation, do not pitch

The single biggest mistake in DMs is treating the first message like a landing page. Nobody replies to a wall of features and a link. They reply to a human who noticed something specific about them.

Every message in this sequence has one job: earn the right to send the next one. Nothing more.

The first message

Hey [First name], thanks for commenting on the recent post. Here is the link to the resource: [link]. How is lead generation currently going for you for the agency?

Deliver the value first, no gate, no "DM me for access." Then ask one open question tied directly to the pain your offer solves. That question does the qualifying work without ever sounding like qualifying.

The qualifying questions

Once they reply, you need 2-3 answers before a call makes sense: what they are currently doing, what is not working, and roughly how urgent it is. Ask them one at a time, in the flow of the conversation, never as a list.

When they say "just send info"

Totally get it, happy to send something over. Honestly though, the setup is different for every agency so a generic PDF won't be that useful. Easier if I just show you on a quick 10-minute call what it'd actually look like for your setup specifically, no pitch, just the walkthrough. Does [day] or [day] work?
Tip: "Just send info" is rarely a real objection, it is a reflex. Redirect to a call once, warmly, and most people go along with it.

The soft booking ask

Sounds like there could be a fit here. Easier to walk you through it live than type it all out, takes about 15 minutes. I've got [day] at [time] or [day] at [time], whichever's better for you?

Always offer two specific times, never "whenever works for you." A specific choice is easier to say yes to than an open-ended one.

The follow-up cadence

If they go quiet after any message, keep going with a different angle. Do not repeat the same ask twice.

DAY 2: Hey [First name], know this can get buried. Still curious how [pain point] is going for you, no worries if it's not a priority right now. DAY 4 (proof angle): Been meaning to follow up, we just helped a similar agency fix this exact thing, happy to share what worked if that'd be useful to you. DAY 7 (low-pressure close): Last note from me on this one. If it becomes a priority, I'm around anytime, just reach out. Good luck with everything you've got going.

Objection replies

Price:

Fair question, and it depends on scope, happy to walk you through pricing on the call so it's tied to what you actually need, not a generic number.

No time:

Makes sense, that's actually the exact problem we solve, this runs without needing more of your time. Worth 15 minutes to see if it fits?

"I'll DIY it":

Respect that, plenty of it you can build yourself. Where we usually come in is speeding up the parts that eat the most time, happy to show you what that'd look like if useful, no pressure either way.

The AI that drafts personalised replies

Here is my conversation so far with a prospect: [paste the thread]. Draft the next reply. Keep it under 3 sentences, reference something specific they said, move toward booking a call if the timing is right, and match a calm, confident operator voice. No greetings, no em dashes, no exclamation marks, no AI-sounding phrases.
Tip: Paste the full thread, not just the last message. Claude Code drafts a far better reply when it has the whole context, not a fragment.

Put it together

Booking calls from DMs is a sequence, not a single clever message. Run the same shape every time.

  1. Deliver value first, then ask one open question.
  2. Qualify with 2-3 natural questions, never a checklist.
  3. Make a soft ask with two specific times.
  4. Follow up with a different angle on day 2, 4 and 7.

The scripts matter less than the discipline of running them every time, on every conversation, without skipping the follow-up because it feels awkward. That discipline is the whole edge.
