For AI agency owners

The Inbound Lead Engine

What this gives you: Turn content into inbound leads on autopilot: the content, comment, DM, call path, run by one person. No ad spend required to start. We coach this 1-on-1 inside AI Agency OS.

Paste this guide into Claude Code and it will adapt the whole system to your niche, your offer and your stack.

Outbound gets you your first clients. Inbound is what makes the business worth owning. The difference is simple: outbound stops the moment you stop sending messages. Inbound keeps paying long after you hit publish.

Here is the exact system I run to turn content into booked calls, without a team and without touching ad spend.

Why inbound compounds

Every outbound message you send has a shelf life of one conversation. Every piece of content you publish keeps working, gets found in search, gets reshared, and builds pattern recognition with your audience over months.

The trade-off is speed. Outbound books calls this week. Inbound takes 60-90 days to build momentum. Run both, but understand what each one is actually for: outbound is cash flow, inbound is the asset.

The path: content to comment to DM to call

The whole system is one path, repeated:

  1. Content that stops the scroll and demonstrates you actually know what you are talking about.
  2. Comment is the low-friction ask, one word, no typing required from them.
  3. DM delivers the value you promised and opens a real conversation.
  4. Call is where the DM naturally lands once there is enough context and trust.

Every post you publish should point somewhere on this path. A post with no next step is just noise.

The hook system

Demo-first hooks outperform everything else. Show the result, the before/after, the thing working, in the first 3 seconds. Do not open with a lesson, open with proof.

Take one idea and turn it into a week of content. A single client win, a single mistake you fixed, a single system you built, each one can become a LinkedIn post, an Instagram carousel, and a YouTube Short, all pointing at the same underlying proof.

The comment-keyword loop

This is the exact loop we run: post a lead magnet, ask people to comment a specific keyword, the keyword triggers an automated DM with the resource link.

It works because commenting a single word is nearly zero friction, far lower than clicking a link in a caption that most platforms suppress anyway. The comment also boosts the post's reach, so the mechanic feeds itself.

The DM opener when they comment

Hey [First name], thanks for commenting on the recent post. Here is the link to the resource: [link]. How is lead generation currently going for you for the agency?

Three moves in one message: a warm, specific opener, the value delivered immediately with no gatekeeping, and one qualifying question that opens a real conversation instead of ending with a link drop.

Tip: Send the resource link before you ask anything. Give first, every time. Asking before giving kills the loop instantly.

A content cadence one person can run

Batch a week of content in one sitting instead of writing daily. Writing under deadline pressure every single day is how content systems die.

The tracker

Track which posts drive DMs and which posts drive calls, then double down on those angles specifically, not on "content" as a category.

Build the content engine in Claude Code

Here is one idea: [hook or client result]. Write a LinkedIn post, an Instagram carousel outline, and a YouTube Short script from it. Match my voice using these examples of my past posts: [paste 3-5 examples]. Lead with the result in the first line, no rhetorical questions, no em dashes. End each with a comment-keyword call to action pointing at [keyword].
Tip: Feed Claude Code your actual best-performing posts as context every time. The voice only stays yours if the examples are real, not generic.

Put it together

Inbound is not about posting more, it is about running the same loop on repeat until it compounds.

  1. Publish content with a demo-first hook and a clear next step.
  2. Run the comment-keyword loop to turn attention into DMs automatically.
  3. Open every DM with value first, then one qualifying question.
  4. Track what actually drives calls, not what gets likes.

Give it 90 days before you judge it. The founders who quit inbound at week 3 never see the compounding, because that is exactly when it starts.
